Roof Architect for complex multi-level roof design in Logan Utah.*  Systems included metal roof, single ply, protective ballast and pavers, snow fencing, skylights, walkway pads, mechanical equipment, hatches, ladders, and heated eave vents for ice dropping and accumulation mitigation.  Penetration designs for exhaust and perchloric stack vents, drains, davits, head wall and flashing against many types of wall materials.  Calculations included snow fence loads and snow slide trajectories.
Roof Architect for re-roof design of 9-level roof designed originally by others in Grand Junction Colorado.*  Photographic documentation and assessment of existing roof with thermal imaging and other methods.  Removal of specific water saturated insulation versus costly complete replacement.  Design changed to PVC membrane, including new flashing, counterflashing, and coping systems against many types of wall materials and door landing conditions.  Penetration designs for vents, drains, ductwork, and piping.  Included were walkway pads, mechanical equipment, hatches, railings, and ladders.
